Role in GUIDE.MRD (brief description): Co-lead of WP2, in which we will use and develop ctDNA Reference Materials to analytically benchmark ctDNA diagnostics for MRD assessment. The best performing assays will be used in a clinical validation of ctDNA as a biomarker of high-risk of recurrence (WP3), where we will contribute to the CRC study.
Expectation of GUIDE.MRD (brief description): I am convinced that ctDNA-based MRD detection to guide treatment will transform clinical practice. GUIDE.MRD will help overcoming technical and clinical obstacles that currently limit its use.
